I am going to participate in the #100daysofcode. As you can see from my last post I have plenty of projects to work on. I stumbled across this Medium post while clearing out my email and knew this was perfect for my push to move forward and change careers.
In a related note, I made some new friends in a live stream chat room last week and we are all going to participate together. They are fellow Free Code Camp user and we have our own chat room where we have been helping each other learn. On Sunday, I even hosted a Google Hangout where we all talked about learning and taught each other a few things. It has been a great couple of days and I look forward to spending the next three months in the trenches together cranking out projects for #100daysofcode. We have committed to a pretty hefty workload that hopefully will result in some great projects.
Before I leave you, I wanted to talk a little about some of the things I am working on in the new year. Since about July of last year, I have been trying to make an effort to blog, Tweet, and Facebook more. In 2017 here is the schedule I am going to follow:
- Tweet daily - should be easy during first 100 days :-)
- Post to the Bloomington Free Code Camp group three times a week.
- Blog weekly
That mean the number of posts here should start increasing and maintaining a good cadence.
Til next time.
